This LED lamp is an ideal replacement for HQI / HQL lamps for use in streetlights, cantilever lamps, parking lights, floodlights etc. with side E-40 socket.

The special feature of this design is that the lamp 2 has foldable light modules. In the folded-in position, the lamp is only 110 x 110 mm in cross-section and can be easily screwed into the lamp head. After inserting, the two folding modules are opened and the lamp aligned so that a uniform, shadow-free light beam up to 180 ° (depending on the light reflector) is achieved. It is important, however, that the existing ballast of the high-pressure lamps is removed by a skilled electrician and the E40 socket is connected directly to 230 VAC.

With 110 Watts, this new LED lamp - equipped with LG SMDs, efficiency 130 lm / W - is as bright as conventional high-pressure lamps with 400 watts.

The lamp operates without active, and prone fans. A well-calculated fin cooler with a chimney effect ensures quiet and sufficient cooling of the LEDs. The integrated, fully encapsulated power supply has a wide input voltage range of 110 - 264 VAC, integrated overvoltage protection 6kV and over-temperature protection. The LEDs are indicated by the manufacturer with an L70 lifetime of 50,000 hours, about 5 times as long as conventional high-pressure lamps. This has a particularly positive effect on the maintenance cost.

The LED light attracts insects much less than UV-emitting high-pressure lamps.

Each individual light source is tested by Asmetec in its own light laboratory for compliance with the data. We test not only the function, but also color temperature, insulation values ​​and vibration resistance. Each batch also performs switching cycle tests (up to 100,000 cycles), extensive electrotechnical, phototechnical tests and an EMC test. Installation:
The LED lamp can easily be replaced with previous lamps with E40 socket. After screwing in, the two lighting modules must be unfolded as otherwise the cooling effect can not be achieved. Existing ballasts must be removed before installing the LED lamp. Compared to high-pressure lamps, METOLIGHT SLG-LED lamps save up to 80% of energy and provide color-free, flicker-free light, which is (in contrast to mercury vapor lamps) free from UV radiation.
