The METOLIGHT® DAL-UV-580 LED luminaires are designed for use in so-called yellow rooms, even in humidity chambers or refrigerated / freezer rooms, where no light with blue levels or in the UV range may be present. Thanks to special LEDs, the DAL-UV580 only emits light in the range between 580 and 660 nm - absolutely UV-free illumination. The housing is made of impact-resistant polycarbonate and corresponds to the classes IP66 / IK08. The matt prism diffuser made of polycarbonate distributes the light to approx. 160 °. The aluminum core PCB is equipped with special high-performance Epistar SMD LEDs. The Ledfriend integrated power supply is designed for input voltages between 100 - 277 V AC 50/60 Hz for long-lasting, low-maintenance operation up to approximately 30,000 hours (L70B50), it can be dimmed via 0-10V signal or 10 kOhm potentiometer.

The mounting clips for the diffuser and the mounting brackets for the lamp are made of stainless steel. The LED circuit board is built into the removable diffuser. Thus, the LEDs are protected against accidental contact, in addition, the installation is significantly simplified: The tub housing with the integrated power supply (optional with motion and / or emergency) is attached via the supplied mounting clips to the ceiling or wall, the power cable connected to the terminal , finally, the LED panel is only connected to the power supply via a plug and clipped onto the tub support.This LED light does not emit UV light. Plastics therefore do not become brittle, insects are not attracted by the light.

The light is yellow-orange to the human eye, so objects can not be seen in their natural colors. Due to the lack of blue and green components in the light spectrum, a correct lumen measurement according to LM79 / LM80 is not possible. The series DAL-UV-580 is available in lengths of 60 cm (30 W), 120 cm (50W) and 150 cm (60W). The efficiency of the special LEDs is approx. 90-110 lm / W.Areas of application: Special lighting in gel rooms, in the laboratory, in electronics, printed circuit boards. Chip, PV production, also usable in damp rooms, sheltered outdoor area, cold room, freezer and others.
