The MAX series cameras were newly developed by Touptek in 2021. They are very high quality cameras with large sensors, integrated, active cooling technology to reduce sensor noise, USB 3.0 for fast data transfer. These cameras are ideally suited for dark field recordings, astro photography, UV recordings, etc. in the scientific and technical field.

The cameras can optionally be supplied with an M52x0.75 mm thread (suitable adapters can be found in the area of ​​our camera adapters) or with the standard C-mount connection (please state in the comments when ordering, because these cameras are only manufactured according to customer orders.

The integrated GSense CMOS sensor 2020BSI-M-UV, 1.2" (13.31 x 13.31 mm) with greatly improved image geometry, contrast and sensitivity shows even edge areas absolutely sharp with a pixel size of 6.5 x 6.5 µm. Depending on the model, the spectral range extends from 200 to 1000 nm . The sensor is cooled by a Peltier element to up to 40°C below the ambient temperature, which results in significantly improved noise behavior. An integrated fan improves the exchange of air and also prevents possible moisture problems. Active cooling is powered by an external 19 VDC power adaptor supplied.

Optionally, a plurality of adapters for brands microscopes (for example, Nikon, Olympus, Leica, Huvitz etc.l) is available, including those for eyepiece 23.2 mm. Hereby, this camera can also be installed on most copmmon professional microscopes ansd telescopes. Thanks to the fast USB 3.0 the camera has a high frame rate, the data transmission can be shifted from 8bit, to 12/14bit.
