The BigEye camera series is equipped with scientific CMOS sensors from Gsense with backlighting. The data transfer takes place via the USB 3.0 port.
F-mount adapters for use with corresponding camera lenses, C-mount adapters or phototubes for microscopes from Olympus, Nikon, Zeiss, Leica and other microscopes can be connected via the M42x0.75 mm thread.
Like all Touptek cameras, the BigEye series is also supplied with software that enables extensive image processing, storage, 2D measurements and much more.
The software runs on Windows / Linux / OSX SDK for multiple platforms; Native C / C ++, C # / VB.NET, DirectShow and Twain Control API.
The integrated, back-illuminated GSense CMOS sensor GSense2020e-M-RS, 1.2" (13.31 x 13.31 mm) with greatly improved picture geometry, contrast and sensitivity presents itself edge regions with absolute sharpness is in pixel size of 6.5 x 6.5 µm. Through USB 3.0 fast comes data transfer and power supply via a single cable. An integrated IR filter protects the sensor. The camera operates with no moving parts. It is embedded in a robust cast aluminum housing and is in precision and robustness many other industrial cameras clearly superior.
Optionally, a plurality of adapters and extenrion sings for brands microscopes (for example, Nikon, Olympus, Leica, Huvitz etc.) is available, including those for C-Mount. Thanks to the fast USB 3.0 the camera has a high frame rate.
