METOLIGHT Light Metrology with Colour-Goniophotometer
Fast and inexpensive measurement of your lamps and bulbs
ASMETEC has its own ultra-modern light metrology laboratory for quality control of our products.
We offer a metrology service for customers, dealers, architects, lighting technicians but also for consumers.
In Goniophotometer light distribution curves of lamps, ceiling lamps, downlights, floodlights, street lights, high bay luminaires are so determined, which can be imported for light calculation programs like Dialux, Relux and others.
In addition to these light curves we determine data such as beam angle, UGR, luminous flux, efficiency, brightness at certain distances from the light source, illuminated area and much more. In the advanced metrology with colour-goniophotometer we also determine the light colour CCT and measure the color curves and their histories.
As for electrical performance we determine power consumption, power factor, voltage, test voltage and much more.
The metrology accuracy is made to customers specification on the setting in coarse or very fine steps, where the measurement then can take several hours and is priced accordingly. In the our regular metrology we use steps of 15 ° horizontally and 30 ° vertically.
All this data is available either as a data format IES, LTD, CSV, PDF or as print out.
In addition to our price for the regular metrology we charge per measurement 50.00 Euros as set-up costs, since each lamp / light bulb must be inserted in a complex way to reach the required accuracy.
Freight costs from and to customer are to be worn by customer. The processing time for metrology jobs is currently 2-3 working days.
