Please note that these LED tubes can NOT be operated on the usual electronic ballasts (ECG), but only directly to mains voltage. Existing ECGs must be removed by a qualified electrician.

The LED tube UVL-560 is designed for use in so-called yellow rooms, in which UV-polymerizing paints, lacquers, resins, etc. are processed, such. in the printed circuit board industry, solar and chip industry, printing industry, paint / resin production etc. UV-polymerizing products are mostly exposed at 360 - 380 nm but often have a further sensitivity in the range between 400 and 460 nm. Therefore, LED tubes or Fluorescent tubes without additional UV filter can not be used here.

The new METOLIGHT LED tubes UVL-560 are manufactured by Asmetec in Kirchheimbolanden especially for this purpose, based on our patent no. 20 2010 001 098.5.
We use LEDs specially developed for this purpose and an additional yellow filter. A radiation of blue light components is absolutely excluded.

The LEDs emit light in the extra narrow range between 560 nm and 630 nm. They are significantly brighter than conventional fluorescent tubes and save over 80% energy with a 10 times longer life. The matte cover provides glare-free light at a light angle of approx. 140 °. The optimum mounting height is 2 - 4 m.

Applications:
Lighting in so-called yellow rooms / yellow rooms in which UV-polymerizing products are processed. The LED tube emits no light below 560 nm. The light appears orange to the human eye, which is why illuminated products are not reflected in their actual colors.
The LED tube can also be used in outdoor areas and in cooling / freezing rooms in suitably protected trough luminaires. It can not be operated on dimmers or electronic ballasts.

Individual inspection at Asmetec:
Each LED tube is individually tested for function and compliance with the technical data in the Asmetec light laboratory. In addition, each LED tube undergoes an insulation resistance test of 1500 volts.
The tests of the photometric data, ISO lines, EMC, switching cycle tests, etc. are carried out in batches.
Customers receive the corresponding test protocols on request.

Notes:
This LED tube is supplied in the usual T8 lengths 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 cm.
We recommend a regular UV density check every 6 months.
