The LED strips series MLS-2016- CCT are designed for professional use. The LED strips are equipped with warm white (2700K) and cold white (6500K) LEDs, which, via an optional control, enable a continuously adjustable light color from warm white to cold white. As usual with LED strips, the connection is made via a common anode (positive pole) and separate cathodes.

Due to the very high color fidelity with CRI Ra> 90 and color consistency of 3McAdams lenses, the room is illuminated with a very high quality of light, almost like natural light.

The MLS LED strips (LED strips) are characterized by numerous technical details, with which METOLIGHT LED strips clearly stand out from cheap LED strips from the supermarket or hardware store. Only high-performance SMDs type 2016 of the San'An brand with an efficiency of over 110 lm / W (white) are used here, fixed on a flexible polyimide circuit board with a 35 µm Cu layer using silver solder paste. This guarantees a long-term function and constant brightness of the LEDs over the entire roll length of 5 meters. A maximum of 2 rolls can be switched directly one after the other, after which power must be supplied again from the power pack.
In the case of cheap products, the copper layer is usually only 9 µm, which means that a row of several LED strips leads to strong heating and a significant loss of brightness. In the case of cheap RoHS soldering pastes based on bismuth, contact breaks occur more frequently, which means that entire LED segments fail.

The LED strip with protection class IP20 (Code A) may only be used in dry indoor areas for general decorative lighting. It may not be operated in damp or wet areas. Application areas are lighting in cabinets, shelves, display cases, counters, backlit of paintings, mirrors, screens, indirect lighting in ceiling or floor moldings and much more.

Installation:
The back of our LED strip is provided with a 3M adhesive tape, so that the LED strips are glued to dust-free, dry surfaces. We recommend especially for continuous lighting of the LED strips to stick on aluminum flat profiles or our special LED profiles to ensure optimal heat dissipation. Sticking on wood or other heat insulating surfaces leads to overheating and thus shortened shelf life of the LEDs.

Electrical connection:
The LED strip must be connected to a stabilized power supply with 24 V DC output voltage, optionally also to respective batteries. Please pay attention to correct polarity. The red connection cable leading to the positive terminal of the power supply. The use of cheap, unregulated power supplies may damage the LED Strip, since such power supplies usually make a significantly higher output voltage (depending on the load connected).
