Combined high bay luminaire with 200 watt day white light + separately switchable 15 watt UVC module, with 4 individually adjustable LED modules
Newly developed LED UVC high bay spotlight as a combination with conventional hall lighting in pure white 5000K (other light colors available on request) and with integrated UVC -LED module with 15 watt power. The 4 LED modules can be aligned as required, the UVC module in the middle of the lamp shines at 120 ° and can be switched separately from the visible light via its own control line. The visible light is generated with an efficiency of 140 lm / W. This high bay luminaire emits visible light as well as UVC light in the range of 200-280 nm, peak 270 nm and is used for air and surface disinfection. To protect people and animals, the UVC module must not be operated when there are people or pets in the room, because UVC radiation can cause severe skin irritation. This light is an optimal combination of adjustable hall light and UVC disinfection light. E.g. During work breaks - when nobody is in the room - the UVC module is switched on to disinfect the room air and surfaces.
The installation must be carried out by a trained electrician in compliance with UVV.
Note: Under no circumstances look into the switched-on light without appropriate protective goggles!
UVC light has long been known for its disinfecting or sterilizing effect, since this radiation destroys the DNA of microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, germs, spores, etc. and thus interrupts cell growth. Previous UVC lamps in the form of fluorescent tubes or high-pressure mercury lamps only emit approx. 10% UVC light, the rest of the radiation is visible light and thermal radiation. In addition, such lamps have the disadvantage of a long heating time and, in the event of breakage, the release of toxic mercury
METOLIGHT UVC LED lamps have a significantly longer life time than conventional UVC lamps. Our LED-UVC-LED lights are equipped with MEANWELL HLG power packs, which can easily be replaced in the event of a defect. The housing is made of die-cast aluminum, 4 separately adjustable LED modules with attached lamellar heat sinks. The HBL-4Way-UVC is suspended at the same height with an on-site chain through a centered eyelet.
Note: safety regulations must then be observed! UVC radiation is very dangerous for all living beings, including humans and animals, and causes serious skin and eye damage if you are unprotected in the UVC light beam. Therefore, these luminaires may only be in operation when nobody is in the radiation area. The lights have a sensor that switches the light off immediately when motion is detected, but in Germany this is not sufficient as the sole UVV protection. The luminaire must be installed as a free emitter by an electrician with UVV training. We therefore urgently recommend installation together with a UVV switch with door contact. This switches the light off when the door is opened and can only be switched on again manually from the outside. For more information, please refer to the data sheet.
