This LED lamp is an ideal replacement for HQI / HQL street lamps for use in lanterns, polder lights , highbay lights, etc. for standing or pending mounting. It replaces 200 Watt HID / MH / HPS / HQL lamps. The matted covers reduce glare und assure a soft light beam. 

This bulb is especially designed to be used in lanterns, polders or simular luminaires. With the extra blinds placed to cover the LEDs the light beam ist directed to the socket (standard, for standing mounting), optionally to the head (in case of pendant mounting). This avoids unwanted light pollution to the sky.

The extra warm light is ideal to replace common sodium lights, especially for warmth in downtown lighting.

It is equipped with LG LED SMD 5630, 130 lm/W, CRI < 85 and has the standard E40 base. We can also supply this lamp with E27 base.
The LEDs easily meet energy class A++ (EU 2012) E (EU 2019), however due to light loss by the blinds the total lamp is energy class A+ (EU 2012) F (EU 2019).

The lamp housing meets IP64, the built-in constant current power supply is double insulated, completely sealed, with integrated protection against overtemperature and overvoltage. Unlike similar-looking lamps METOLIGHT SLG28 ( eg fan.) there are no moving parts. All electronic components are of highest quality, such as Japan Rubycon capacitors, First MOS (USA) and MPS IC (USA) chips, flame retardant, sealed special PMMA housing, ceramic isolated base etc. The this all assures long llife time of this bulb.

This new LED bulb is available in these light colours:
1900 - 2200K, extra warm, for downtown illumination, similar like sodium lamps
2700 - 3200K, warm white, like traditional bulbs
3800 - 4200K, nature white, a full bright colourful light, esp. for shop lighting
4800 - 5200K, pure white, extra bright for parks, walk ways etc

The LED light attracts insects significantly less than UV-emitting high-pressure lamps. It saves more than 80% of energy at about 10times longer lifetime.

Unlike similar looking lamps, only the original of METOLIGHT offers the required industrial Asmetec quality. Each individual light source is tested by Asmetec in its own light laboratory for compliance with the data. We test not only the function, but also color temperature, insulation values ​​and vibration resistance. Each batch also performs switching cycle tests (up to 100,000 cycles), extensive electrotechnical, phototechnical tests and an EMC test. Custom-made and repairs (even after the warranty period) are carried out at our own facility in Kirchheimbolanden.

Installation:
The LED lamp can easily replace former high pressure bulbs with E40 base. Existing electronic ballasts must be removed before installing the LED lamp. Please note that this type of lamp is expressivly only for standing or pendant installation. In case of angled installation you need to support the lamp head by e.g. cable tie to reduce the weight pressure on the lamp socket.
Compared with high-pressure bulbs METOLIGHT SLG LED lamps save up to about 80 % of energy and deliver to a true-color , flicker-free light that also (unlike mercury vapor lamps ) are free of UV radiation is.
