The new design of our high bay light series UFO-Food combines highly efficient Philips SMD LEDs 135 lm/W, Meanwell LED driver, IP protection class IP66 (dust-proof, hose-proof) in a very compact cast aluminum housing with exchangeable PMMA Fresnel lens. The beam angle can be changed simply by changing the lens, which is available in 60 / 90 (Standard) / 120 degree light beam. The new-style Fresnel Lens can flexibly cover any quantity of LEDs, suitable for diverse PCB board layout, so as to achieve higher lumen output and meet different customers’ requirements, but ordinary lens has no such flexibility.
This highbay liuminaire is designed to be used for super high safety performance without glass and exposed screws, which avoids dropping glass fragments or screws into food or machinery. Smooth body with seamless design would greatly diminish dust and water accumulation, as well, makes cleaning work easily. IP 66 waterproof, corrosion-resistant and antiaging. It’s a perfect solution for food-processing application to be hosed down frequently for cleaning
The light beam is approximately 90° ideal for mounting heights of 3-6 m. This Luminaire can replace a 300W HQI lamp in many cases.
The newly developed Meanwell LED driver corresponds to the IP class IP66, is at power factor Pf> 0.93 and belongs to the best power supplies available. It is easy to replace in case of damage. The LED-PCB can be easily replaced by an electrical technician.
Installation is simple with steel rope or chain with carabiner for hooking into the supplied eyebolt. Optionally, this luminaire can be delivered with a transparent PMMA reflector to increase the amount of indirect light - commonly used in supermarket lighting. Also a motion sensor can be attached. Finally the driver is also available for 0-10V / DALI dimming.
