Grounding plug for 3pin-outlet, Germany style, for ESD-safe grounding of work place and persons
2 x 10 mm male snap, 1 x 4 mm stud
Grounding block in yellow plastic for plugging into 3-pin earth outlets of Germany style. The earth contact of the outlet is connected to the snaps. (Here, of course, to ensure proper installation of outlets is provided)Grounding cord (coild cord or straight cord) with female 10 mm snaps or cable eye are plugged onto the grounding plug. Each snap is equipped with a 1 MOhm resistor.
Typical installation:
ESD table mat is connected by a grounding cord to the grounding plug. The person is grounded via a wrist band which is connected via a ground coil cord with either the table mat or grounding plug.
Note:
Please pay attention to the size of the snaps on the wrist bands, the table mat and the grounding plugs. Usually, the contacts come with snaps 4 mm, 7 mm and 10 mm or 4 mm banana plug / socket. Wrist straps, floor- and table mats, grounding plugs have mostly male snaps, the grounding cables are equipped with female snaps.
