Touptek EXCCD

ToupTek EXCCD is an ExView HAD CCD series camera. It adopts Sony ExView HAD CCD sensor as the image-picking device. Sony ExView HAD CCD is a CCD that drastically improves light efficiency by including near infrared light region as a basic structure of HAD (Hole-Accumulation-Diode) sensor. EXCCD comes with USB 2.0 Port.

Compared with CMOS sensor, CCD sensor has lower image noise, so the image quality of CCD sensor is better.
And usually CCD sensor has much better sensitivity than CMOS sensor, it can be perfectly used in low light environment and microscope fluorescence image capture. 
CCD sensor also has better color reproduction.
