LED Tube ECO

A few years ago it was unthinkable that LED tubes would become almost as cheap as fluorescent tubes. But the extremely rapid development of LED technology makes it possible that Asmetec LED tubes are already available in the 5-euro price class. Of course there are also technical differences to the extremely robust LED tubes for professional continious use. For example, the very inexpensive LED tubes cannot be repaired, they are also not designed for 24/7 continiuous operation, but are ideally suited for lighting archives, offices, garages and other rooms in which the lights are sometimes switched off.

METOLIGHT LED Tubes Series ECO - especially inexpensive LED Tubes

The LED tubes of the ECO series are particularly inexpensive and intended for general lighting tasks in luminaires with conventional ballast and starter. They are not suitable for duo/tandem operation, in dimmable luminaires or luminaires with electronic ballast. These light sources are ideal for archives, cellars, garages, corridors - wherever bright light is needed but is not permanently switched on. ECO-LED tubes should cool down after 12 hours. The illuminated area is over 300°. The LED tube therefore also lights upwards - indispensable for low ceiling heights, where the indirect lighting of the ceiling brightens up the room. Like our other LED tubes of other series, the ECO series is also equipped with SCE (Safety Connect Electronics) - a current entrainment to the opposite contact end is thus excluded.
Hint: Before replacing the tube, make sure to disconnect the lamp from the power supply, otherwise the ballast unit may discharge in a flash when the tube is inserted and damage the LED tube.
