Power supplies Open Frame are only suitable for installation in control cabinets. These constant voltage switching power supplies are only slightly protected against contact, but not against dust or splash water (IP20). Since the contacts are open - only protected by a small protective strip against accidental contact - such power supplies may only be installed by a qualified electrician, of course, the usual protective measures in dealing with electricity must be observed.

Open Frame power supplies are usually available as a constant voltage power supply - fixed output voltage up to the power limit. Such power supplies are particularly suitable for operating LED lights, LED bulbs or LED strips or LED modules in the appropriate voltage (usually 5, 12 or 24 VDC). Our open frame power supplies comply with current safety regulations, have integrated protection against overvoltage and overload.
